UNAIR NEWS – In the beginning of 2018, the service period of Universitas Airlangga Audit Committee for the period 2012-2017 has ended. Welcoming the spirit of devotion to the alma mater in the future, Universitas Airlangga held an event for the succession of Audit Committee of UNAIR from period 2012-2017 to 2018-2023. Attended by UNAIR officials, it was held in Amerta Room, 4th Floor, UNAIR Management Office Building, Wednesday, February 7.
Secretary of the Academic Senate UNAIR Iman Prihandono, SH., MH., LL.M., Ph.D., in his speech expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Board of Trustees (WMA) UNAIR to all members of the previous committee, 2012-2017, Supardi, Head; Suhar Adi Kustanto, secretary; and Henky Supit, Achmad Muslim Hamzens, R. Hartono, members. He continued that words alone cannot represent the gratitude for the help and all the efforts made.
“On behalf of the Head of MWA, I would like to express my gratitude for your devotion for the positive results achieved by UNAIR,” he said.
On that occasion also, Iman welcomed the candidates of Audit Committee UNAIR period 2018-2023 towards better UNAIR. Same with the previous period, the Audit Committee of UNAIR 2018-2023 consists of five people.
“To the candidates for audit committee members, R. Hartono, Hanny Wurangian, Widartoyo, Djoni Budiardjo and Among Rofi’i, congratulations for being elected and good luck, “he added.
Meanwhile, the Rector of UNAIR Prof. Dr. H. Mohammad Nasih, SE., MT., Ak, CMA., also thanked the previous audit committee and he hoped that cooperation and support are always well established.
“It is a remarkable contribution and participation. And, at least the maintain security in quotation marks of Universitas Airlangga for its vital role. If there is no audit committee, there may be some obstacles, “he said.
Prof. Nasih said, a succession means openness to others’ thoughts. Supports from both committees are meaningful, especially in an effort to improve UNAIR.
Prof. Nasih congratulated the new audit committee. In their own respective fields, he hoped their best contribution to their beloved alma mater.
“Airlangga must be number one in certain positions. Hopefully this becomes our good deeds and our contribution to Universitas Airlangga, “he said. “Good luck on duty, work and your service, “he added.
At the End, Prof. Nasih reminded various targets are ahead for UNAIR. The latest, he added, there has been some new development, that in 2018, Kemenristekdikti has targeted UNAIR to reach Top 550 World, and Top 500 World in 2020.
“Once again, thanks and congratulations. And, hopefully the various targets that have been proclaimed can be achieved with support and cooperation. Good luck in serving and working for the alma mater, “he said. (*)
