In celebrating the holy month of Ramadan, the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga, is carrying out Ramadan studies with the assistance of a semi-autonomous body engaged in the religious field, namely the Islamic Spiritual Center (SKI). FH UNAIR, with the assistance of SKI FH UNAIR formed this Ramadan study with the theme “Quality People, People Full of Patience,” which is indeed synonymous with Islamic values, especially during this month of Ramadan. This study aims to understand human qualities, especially Muslims, in facing the challenges of the times under Islamic values, which are implemented under the expertise of their respective fields.
The forum was attended by educators, lecturers, and student representatives from each Semi-Autonomous Body in FH UNAIR. Also, Deputy Dean I Dr. Enny Narwati, S.H., M.H, Vice Dean II Dr. M. Syaiful Aris, S.H., M.H., LL.M and Wadek III Dr. Maradona, S.H., LL.M. This study also invited Ustadz Ahmad Habibul Muiz, Lc., M.Sos. as a speaker in this Ramadan study. Vice Dean II in his speech, also said that this event was not only to understand the value of studies but also to help good synergy between lecturers, teaching staff to students to help improve the quality of UNAIR Faculty of Law. Kemal as the head of SKI, also conveyed in his speech that he hoped that through this Ramadan forum we could take lessons from what was delivered later by Ustadz Ahmad Habibul Muiz according to the theme, especially regarding patience.
Ustadz Ahmad Habibul Muiz, in this forum conveyed that the need for the strength of faith and piety to Allah SWT is a significant value so that in the future, we act in this world based on the worship of Allah SWT. “In carrying out routines as students and lecturers, it must be based on intention. We can also change destiny based on our efforts, as is known as qada and qadar.” Said the accomplished Ustadz.
Apart from Ramadan studies, this activity also included giving donations to orphans, which were distributed through the Ibnu Sina Foundation, a form of UNAIR Faculty of Law’s concern for orphans and a form of sharing kindness in this blessed month. Little help and benefit for orphans through the Ibn Sina Foundation.
