UNAIR NEWS – LDK (Campus Dakwah Institution) Off Main Campus Study Program (PSDKU) Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi is a community of interest and talent (komikat) that oversees the activities of Islamic students in PSDKU. A work program from LDK is the commemoration of Isra ‘Mi’raj.

Therefore, LDK PSDKU UNAIR Banyuwangi held Isra’Mi’raj 1439 H commemoration with a sermon from Ustadz Muhammad Faishol, M.Pd, Friday, April 20.

It was started by spreading online posters on orders to pray through LDK social media such as instagram, LINE official account, facebook, and a great sermon attended by all students of PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi.

The sermon was held at Musholla Al-Kautsar SMKN 1 Banyuwangi from 5 pm to 9 pm. The activity was started with Maghrib prayer and then continued with the perfomance of hadrah of students SMKN 1 Banyuwangi.

After the performance, the participants Isya’ prayer together and the final event was started around seven o’clock in the evening. It was a great sermon on “Achieving Happiness in Five Times”.

Fathi Izzuddin, as Head of LDK said that the activity invited the students to re-remember how important the event of Isra ‘and Mi’raj which gave command of 5 time prayers.

“So the students will always keep their prayers and I think the enthusiasm shown was very high,” said Faiz.

Faiz also hoped that the academic community of PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi will gain knowledge, to be spiritually refreshed after struggling with the campus life.

“Hopefully this activity commemorating the big day of Islam can be carried out regularly every year as a work program of LDK,” he explained.

The event ran well with no significant obstacles. The event was closed with a prayer and the committee presented a token of appreciation to Ustadz Muhammad Faishol, M.Pd, as the preacher for the event.
