UNAIR NEWS – As a housewife and mother did not limit her to study. Ajeng Tita Nawangsari, the master graduate of accountant, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Achieved perfect GPA 4,00 and awarded as best graduate of FEB in Graduation Ceremony September 2017.
The Banyumas- origin woman explained that it did not easy for her to study in other city; moreover, she needed to manage her time to take care her children, as a wife and student.
“I took morning classes, so, in the early morning I took my children to daycare of RSUD Dr. Soetomo. After classes, I did not going home. I did my college task first and study,” Ajeng explained
According to her, study in college was not only to achieve certificate and transcript, but also process to change mindset, behavior, and life goals to be better. Indirectly, college life was someone’s journey to be intelligent with integrity.
“It doesn’t matter to get C or D by hard work, than get score A by cheating,” She said
She had been through ups and downs in her study, include when she wrote her thesis. She chose topic of accounting history entitled “The role of accounting in the time of Kedir Kingdom in 12 – 13 M.”
During conducted research for her thesis, she spent much times to visit museum and interview the archeologist. The activity took her to leave her children for a while due to thesis conducting. For the next, this 30-years-old mother would apply her knowledge in education and continue in doctoral degree.
