UNAIR NEWS – Airlangga University Bidikmisi Organization (AUBMO, -ed) is now officially has a new leader. It was marked by the handover of office (sertijab) which was held on Friday, February 16. Being held in the Student Center Hall of Campus C UNAIR, it was the beginning for Mohammad Nur Rouf and Muhammad Yusuf Hidayat to be the Head and deputy of AUBMO 2018/2019.
The solemn event was attended by the Directorate of Student Affairs represented by Catur Dian Setiawan S.Farm., M.Kes., Apt., Head of Student Executive Board (BEM) UNAIR Anang Fajrul, head of AUBMO Hafit Ari Pratama, and all the management of AUBMO 2018/2019.
On that occasion, Hafit Ari Pratama as the former Head of AUBMO advised the new board to always remember the original purpose. If there is a problem in the then they have to recall the initial commitment to become a member of AUBMO. He added that organization would not run by one person, but all the board should help each other.
“So, the stewardship is not just one person who works, but requires a cooperation and cohesiveness,” explained the student of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine.
Meanwhile, the head of BEM UNAIR Anang Fajrul said that AUBMO is a respected organization in UNAIR. AUBMO has a positive track record that must be maintained by the next stewardship. In addition, Anang also advised that a given mandate is not a form of happiness but rather a trust as a test given by God.
“When we consider a trust or a position as happiness we will be neglected by it. However, if we consider a trust is a test, then we will try to be able to perform obligations optimally, “he said before apologizing to the old AUBMO stewardship and congratulate the new stewardship.
On the same occasion, the representative of the student director, Catur Dian Setiawan S.Farm., M.Kes., Apt., congratulated and thank the old stewards who have run the mandate well. The management AUBMO 2017/2018 has performed very well.
“The hope is that after being handed over for a new stewardship, the new board can continue and improve what the old management has done. Besides, I hope AUBMO’s performance is not only at university level but also national level, “his message for the new stewardship.
After being sworn in and inaugurated by the representative of the student affairs director along with the other board, Mohammad Nur Rouf elected Head gave his first speech. Rouf expressed his gratitude to the whole new management.
