Another national achievement has been made by Universitas Airlangga. Three students of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) D3 Program of Faculty of Vocational Studies UNAIR won third place in Smart Safety Competition (SASECOM) 2019. They were Primedya Kusumawati from class 2017; Vira Rohmatul Aliyah from class 2017; and Addien Kusuma Wardani from class 2018.
Towards 21 years of Reform, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Political Science Student Association (HIMAPOL) held an event, Festformasi “Ada Dalam Ketiadaan (Present in Inexistence)”.

D3 Taxation Program Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) held KOMPAK 2109 (National Tax Competition) on May 3-5, 2019. KOMPAK 2019 is a competition held annually. The competition was attended by 49 taxation and accounting students from all Indonesian universities and any degrees of education.
Batik is one of the world cultural heritages from Indonesia. Indonesian should be proud that it has a national cultural heritage recognized internationally.
Universitas Airlangga through Center for Scientific Journal Development and Publication (PPJPI) continues to boost the publication of articles and the quality of scientific journals in UNAIR, both national and international accredited scientific journals.
Starting from unease to see the phenomenon of hijrah in Indonesia, Teguh Imami, an alumnus of UNAIR History Sciences, wrote a book. According to him, hijrah became a rapidly developing phenomenon in the community.
The work of community service continues to be carried out by Universitas Airlangga as part of Tri Dharma of higher education implementation. One of them was conducted by UNAIR through Dharma Wanita organization this year.
There are various ways done by Muslims to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan 1440 AH which falls in May 2019. One of them is competing in doing good deeds. The same thing was done by Social Affairs (Sosmas) Department of Off Main Campus Program (KM) Off Main Campus Program (PSDKU) UNAIR in Banyuwangi.
