UNAIR NEWS – In the beginning of Off Main Campus Study Program (PSDKU) Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi in 2014. Students still do not have much activities outside the classes. Over time, some first-year students had the idea of ​​forming a community that was different from others.

A community named Protocol was formed and chaired by Anggun Mochamad Yusuf. The community is based on a sense of kinship, brotherhood, and mutual supports. It was the statement from Head of Munwa Pribadi 2018 Muhammad Reynaldy Thoriq Al Islam.

“So this Munwa Pribadi stands on the basis of a sense of kinship, brother, and mutual supports. It was the expectation of Munwa Pribadi initiator, “he said.

In 2015 due to several considerations, the name of the Protocol was changed its name to Munwa Pribadi which stands for Student Community of Self Development and Personality.

“So according to its name in the establishment, this community is engaged in the field of protocols which include public speaking, table manners, social etiquette, ceremony arrangement and reverence and MC, “he explained.

In reality the activities of various protocol trainings and field practices were directly conducted by the government of Banyuwangi. The organize activities such as Banyuwangi Ethno Carnival, Gandrung Sewu Festival, Banyuwangi Beach Jazz Festival and many other Banyuwangi activity.

“Participation of members to go directly to various activities in Banyuwangi can form and train directly how to deal with various characters of people,” he explained.

Although they are active in the activities of the Government of Banyuwangi, Munwa Pribadi also has a big annual internal activity of Kartini celebration. The celebration of Kartini itself is held for the third time until 2018. The first celebration named Airlangga Fashion Week, then the second Kartini celebration and for this year 2018 Munwa Pribadi commemorated Kartini’s Day with an awarding night to the campus ambassador who were selected through a series of previous activities.

“With a series of activities organized, Munwa Pribadi community is expected to be useful not only for themselves and the community but also for the wider community, especially Banyuwangi which is known for its Blue fire in Ijen,” he concluded.
