The accreditation score reached 91.08, which applies until 2028.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThe ANRI accreditation is a quality assessment and feasibility of archival institutions, in higher educations included,\u201d Kiswari SSos, Head of UNAIR Archive. The Archive First Unit is a part of UNAIR Secretariat.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Accreditation preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Kiswari stated that one of the keys to gaining ANRI\u2019s Exceptional grade(AA) accreditation lies in good coordination. \u201cFor instance, we need the audiovisual room for archive management, the Directorate of Facilities and Infrastructure provided it for us. The Directorate of Logistics, Security, Order and Environment (LKKL), Directorate of Human Resources (HR), and others have been great helps as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Archive First Unit also provided regular mentoring for active, inactive, and static archives to Archive Second Units at the faculty and work levels. \u201cMoreover, we also facilitate financial support for faculties to restore the archive. Archive restoration is costly,\u201d Kiswari said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Archive First Unit is committed to improving its archivists and archive managers through training and apprenticeships. \u201cThey participate in website building classes and doing an apprenticeship in archival institutions in Surabaya and East Java,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/210.57.208.200\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Foto-1-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-171974\"\/><figcaption>Universitas Airlangga Archive First Unit. (Source: Personal Document)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Follow-up actions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cAs the accreditation is valid for the next six years, hopefully, we can maintain it. We want to improve the accreditation score,\u201d Kiswari said.
