{"id":176705,"date":"2022-12-09T11:40:07","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T04:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/european-union-ambassador-gives-public-lecture-on-climate-crisis-prevention\/"},"modified":"2022-12-12T09:48:07","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T02:48:07","slug":"european-union-ambassador-gives-public-lecture-on-climate-crisis-prevention","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/european-union-ambassador-gives-public-lecture-on-climate-crisis-prevention\/","title":{"rendered":"European Union Ambassador gives public lecture on climate crisis prevention"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNAIR NEWS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Universitas Airlangga (\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/unair.ac.id\/\">UNAIR<\/a>\u00a0) is committed to solving global crises, including the climate crisis.\u00a0This commitment was shown by holding a guest lecture by the European Union Ambassador to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, HE Vincent Piket, on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.\u00a0Being held in Kahuripan Room 301, Management Office, MERR Campus C, the guest lecture raised the theme \u201cAverting a Climate Crisis: EU-Indonesia Cooperation for the Green Economy\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<p>HE Vincent Piket reminded various parties that the current climate crisis has become a real threat to global countries. To overcome this issue, various approaches are needed, considering the different backgrounds of countries in the world. In addition, said Vincent, the global community should not close its eyes to that challenges, and significant steps must be made.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThis crisis ultimately forces us to find new spaces and grow a better living environment.
