She said the Community Service program this time was called BBK or Learning with Community, which was one of the Ministry of Education and Research\u2019s Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) programs. Dr. Gadis said, in principle, BBK is student service as a form of the university\u2019s concern for the community.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cDear students, learn as much as possible based on the field of knowledge that you studied in college. This is one of the cradles of growth, how you could participate in improving or solving problems in society,\u201d said dr. Gadis.<\/p>\n\n<p>For the following 25 days until February 4, 2023, students will serve in two sub-districts in Jember, Panti District, and Sukorambi District. She explained students taking part in these activities are from various fields of science, including Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Advanced Technology and Multidiscipline, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, and School of Health and Natural Sciences.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"998\" src=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/KKN-Jember-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182725\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Photo: Imam Ariadi\u00a0<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>\u201cThe deployment of students must be based on problems in the village or region. So that the knowledge gained can be applied, \u201c she added.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Message from the regency government<\/h5>\n\n<p>Meanwhile, dr. Hendro, First Assistant Regional Secretary of Jember Regency, in his speech, hoped that Community Service Program in Jember could strengthen the relationship between students and the community. Also, students can explore and develop potential in existing areas, as well as help solve some of the problems faced by the community.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cCurrently, there are cases of foot and mouth disease. Hopefully, the arrival of students can help solve the problems that occur, \u201cexplained Hendro.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"998\" src=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/KKN-Jember-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182727\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Photo: Imam Ariadi\u00a0<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>DPL of Serut 1 and Serut 2 groups, Panti District, Jember Regency, Herri Trilaksana SSi MSi PhD said education regarding stunting and foot and mouth disease (PMK) handling was one of the KKN programs he mentored.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cHopefully, students will no longer be awkward when interacting with the community, even though most of the people here speak Madurese,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Apart from being attended by 197 students, the event was attended by Jember Regency officials.
