{"id":192672,"date":"2023-03-20T12:58:45","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T05:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/three-unair-students-attend-international-conferences-in-three-countries\/"},"modified":"2023-03-20T16:03:52","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T09:03:52","slug":"three-unair-students-attend-international-conferences-in-three-countries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/three-unair-students-attend-international-conferences-in-three-countries\/","title":{"rendered":"Three UNAIR students attend international conferences in three countries"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNAIR NEWS \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Students can make the most of their college days by taking any opportunities available, including going abroad without charge.\u00a0Three students at <a href=\"http:\/\/unair.ac.id\">Universitas Airlangga<\/a> (UNAIR): Muhammad Anang Jazuli and Firman Hidayat\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fst.unair.ac.id\/\">(<\/a>Faculty of Science and Technology,\u00a0Class of 2019) and Achmad Chasina Aula (Faculty of Dental Medicine, Class of 2020).\u00a0They became UNAIR delegates in the 2023 Youth Leaders Exchange And Conference (YLEC) program, held in three countries, and won several awards.<\/p>\n\n<p>Anang explained the big theme,\u00a0Building Capacity of New Leaders for Indonesia&#8217;s Golden Generation.\u00a0They were divided into groups to discuss sub-themes such as education, tourism, socio-culture, economics, and language, which were then presented during the conference.<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;My team and I got the economics and tourism sub-theme then.\u00a0We presented Digitour Indonesia as a platform to promote tourism villages in Indonesia.\u00a0Thanks to this idea, we got the\u00a0Best Group, Best Delegate,\u00a0and\u00a0Best Oralist,&#8221; said the former Head of BEM FST when interviewed by UNAIRNEWS on Sunday, March 19, 2023.<\/p>\n\n<p>Firman and Achmad also received\u00a0Outstanding Delegate Performance\u00a0due to their liveliness during the discussion forum.\u00a0Apart from the conference, city tours\u00a0and\u00a0campus tour\u00a0activities were also included.\u00a0They visited\u00a0iconic\u00a0places such as the National University of Singapore, Universiti Malaya, and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.<\/p>\n\n<p>They had to struggle to make that achievement. They underwent rigorous selections, from paper selection and interviews to Focus Group Discussions (FGD).
