{"id":231338,"date":"2023-08-18T16:34:40","date_gmt":"2023-08-18T09:34:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/three-unair-nursing-researchers-make-top-100-world-scientists-list\/"},"modified":"2023-08-21T11:08:15","modified_gmt":"2023-08-21T04:08:15","slug":"three-unair-nursing-researchers-make-top-100-world-scientists-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/three-unair-nursing-researchers-make-top-100-world-scientists-list\/","title":{"rendered":"Three UNAIR Nursing researchers make Top 100 World Scientists list"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>UNAIR NEWS<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 As one of the world-class universities,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/\">Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR)<\/a>\u00a0produces quality graduates and outstanding lecturers and researchers.\u00a0The latest achievement came from a trio of researchers from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/en\/faculty-of-nursing\/\">the Faculty of Nursing (FKp)<\/a>\u00a0UNAIR.\u00a0They are Prof Dr Ah Yusuf SKp MKes, Prof Nursalam Hons, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.unair.ac.id\/en\/persons\/ferry-efendi-3\">Ferry Efendi SKep Ns MSc PhD<\/a>. The three nursing lecturers and researchers made it to Indonesia\u2019s 2023 World Top 100 Medical and Health Sciences Scientist list.<\/p>\n\n<p>The ranking was from the assessment of scientific journals\u2019 impact. It means that scientific articles must be high quality, acknowledged, and cited by others. Ferry, the researcher\u2019s representative, said that there were no significant difficulties in publishing scientific journals. Moreover, research and publication is one of the Three Pillars of Higher Education. However, difficulties sometimes arise from within the authors.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThe difficulty sometimes comes from ourselves, persistence, and discovering new things we can do. To improve the impact of publication, you have to be consistent,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Must be observant<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p>Ferry revealed that a researcher must be observant in choosing topics and subjects in scientific journals. Working on these topics and subjects consistently will produce outstanding achievements.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cI think all researchers can make achievements as long as they are diligent, understand\u00a0the trending topics\u00a0in each subject, and are consistent in that area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the future, these three researchers will continue to work and be even more productive in producing scientific journals and research products for the community. \u201cKeep on working and be productive for research, publication, and downstream process to make UNAIR better,\u201d said Ferry.<\/p>\n\n<p>He advised researchers that no matter how small the research is, it will bring change and new insight to the world. Ferry also advised to keep working. \u201cKeep asking questions, stay curious, and never give up when facing obstacles,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n<p>Ferry added that another thing that is no less important is to continue to improve collaboration. \u201cStay dedicated, collaborate with colleagues, and always learn and grow. The world needs your contribution and dedication. Keep fighting and innovating for a better future,\u201d he concluded.
