This time, through its flagship research center REACH (Research Center in Advancing Community Healthcare), UNAIR welcomed an academic visit from Dr. Khadizah binti Haji Abdul Mumin, Associate Professor at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD).<\/p>\n\n<p>Dr. Khadizah\u2019s visit, which took place from Monday (July 14, 2025) to Sunday (July 27, 2025), marked her role as a visiting fellow as part of a training and collaborative research program. Her presence brought fresh momentum to strengthening the field of community nursing research in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cThis is more than just an academic visit\u2014it represents an effort to build intellectual bridges across borders. Our collaboration aims to deepen research foundations and create tangible impacts through community service,\u201d said Prof. Ferry Efendi, Head of REACH UNAIR.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e167df2cc413727b698af5a44e52a9e0\">Exploring sociocultural issues in healthcare access<\/h5>\n\n<p>Over the course of two weeks in Surabaya, Dr. Khadizah and the UNAIR team co-authored two collaborative research articles focused on sociocultural factors influencing healthcare access. The findings will also be applied in the field through a community service project scheduled for Thursday (July 17, 2025).<\/p>\n\n<p>The academic exchange will conclude with a national webinar titled \u201cEnhance Your Research Capacity: From Draft to Impactful Research,\u201d which will be held virtually on Thursday (July 24, 2025).<\/p>\n\n<p>The webinar will feature expert speakers from both Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and is open to the public\u2014particularly faculty, early-career researchers, and students seeking to enhance the quality of their scholarly publications.<\/p>\n\n<p>Beyond sharing academic insights, this initiative reaffirms UNAIR\u2019s commitment to fostering meaningful, results-driven international partnerships.
