The program aired live on Suara Muslim TV\u2019s YouTube channel on Friday, August 22, 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event featured several speakers, including Prof. Dr. H. Suparto Wijoyo, S.H., M.Hum., Dr. Sulistya Rusgianto, and A. F. Bayuny, Ph.D. In his opening remarks, Prof. Wijoyo said Indonesia\u2019s 80th Independence Day should also be seen as a reminder for young people to strive for financial independence. <\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cIn this moment of celebrating Indonesia\u2019s 80 years of independence, the younger generation must also experience financial freedom. It should serve as a period of learning for both the nation and the people, just as our founding fathers envisioned in their long-term plans,\u201d Prof. Wijoyo said.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-25cd5df6bca40acdcdf136e245113a30\"><strong>Meaning of planning<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>He explained that financial planning has always been part of national life through funding and budgeting practices. Indonesia\u2019s annual state and regional budgets (APBN and APBD), he said, are proof of structured planning.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cAPBN and APBD reflect financial planning within an annual timeframe. To realize the Golden Generation 2045, we need strong financial frameworks supported by determination and discipline,\u201d noted Prof. Wijoyo, who also serves as Vice Director for Research, Internationalization, Digitalization, and Information at UNAIR\u2019s Postgraduate School. <\/p>\n\n<p>He added that today\u2019s Muslim youth must foster creativity, economic vision, and entrepreneurial skills to secure financial stability. He drew a parallel to Prophet Muhammad, who established the Medina Charter to expand relations across communities and built marketplaces as symbols of economic growth at the time.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Steps and goals in financial planning<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p>Achieving financial stability, however, is not simple. It requires consistent effort and time. Dr. Sulistya pointed out that several obstacles often undermine people\u2019s ability to manage their finances effectively.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cSome of the main challenges are how people approach financial planning and how they set priorities. Long-term planning is crucial and should not be overlooked.
