UNAIR NEWS<\/strong> \u2013 BBK-7 students from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) serving in Doho Village, Dolopo Subdistrict, Madiun Regency, have launched their first educational initiative as part of their community service program. The activity, titled Mission X, was held at SDN Doho and reflects UNAIR students\u2019 commitment to supporting efforts to enhance the quality of learning at the elementary school level.<\/p>\n\n

Mission X was developed as an educational, game-based learning program designed to be interactive and enjoyable. Aimed at students in grades one through three, the program seeks to strengthen motor and sensory skills while instilling positive character values from an early age. The initiative is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education, which underscores the importance of inclusive, participatory, and meaningful learning approaches.<\/p>\n\n

Series of events<\/h5>\n\n

The Mission X activities were organized in groups using a rotating station format. Each group completed all game stations and was assessed based on accuracy, speed, and teamwork. Four main stations were prepared, each focusing on a different learning objective. At the Healthy Maze Station, students navigated a maze made of raffia strings while sorting cards that illustrated healthy and unhealthy habits, helping raise awareness of clean and healthy lifestyle practices.<\/p>\n

The Honesty Bottle Station featured a relay game in which students transferred mung beans into a bottle, combined with short quizzes on daily behavior to promote honesty, empathy, and social responsibility. Meanwhile, the Archipelago Puzzle Station focused on communication and teamwork through puzzle assembly activities featuring maps of Indonesia or national heroes, with clearly assigned roles for each group member. The final station, Mathematics Secret Code, challenged students to solve simple coded messages that formed math problems, aiming to strengthen contextual literacy and numeracy skills.<\/p>\n\n

Through the implementation of Mission X, the BBK-7 UNAIR team hopes to provide students with a learning experience that is both engaging and meaningful, while also contributing to the development of positive character traits from an early age.<\/p>\n\n
