To support this goal, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), organized a series of educational and community empowerment programs through Langkah Lestari 3.0. The program was held from Monday (June 8, 2026) to Saturday (June 13, 2026) in Bendunganjati Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Funded through the SDGs UNAIR Sustain Action grant provided by the Institute for Sustainable Community Service (LPMB) UNAIR, the program adopted an education-based community empowerment approach. Through a variety of activities involving local residents, the organizing team sought to enhance health literacy, environmental awareness, and public understanding of the importance of education as the foundation of sustainable community development.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\"><strong>Providing education for diverse community groups<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nickolas Ivan Palevi, Chair of the Langkah Lestari 3.0 organizing committee, explained that the team designed a range of activities tailored to the needs of different community groups, from children to adults. \u201cWe wanted to develop a program that does not focus on just one aspect. (Photo: Organizing Committee)&#13;\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the program, the team organized a mental health awareness session in collaboration with Airlangga Safe Space of the Faculty of Psychology (FPsi) Student Executive Board, a sex education seminar in partnership with the Ministry of Movement and Gender Equality (KPKG) of the FISIP Student Executive Board, and an oral health education program in collaboration with Denteam from the Faculty of Dental Medicine (FKG), Universitas Airlangga.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the students conducted the Rumah Belajar (Learning House) and Ecoprint programs to improve children&#8217;s knowledge of education, environmental sustainability, and healthy living habits from an early age. Through these activities, participants received educational materials while taking part in various creative and interactive sessions that encouraged environmental awareness and helped develop their practical skills.<\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\"><strong>Building community awareness<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond classroom-based educational activities, Langkah Lestari 3.0 also encouraged community participation through a variety of interactive programs, including community clean-up activities, morning exercise sessions with residents, creative flower pot workshops, and a community fun walk.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Palevi explained that these activities were designed to raise public awareness of the importance of health, education, and environmental responsibility in everyday life.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to him, sustainable development requires active community participation. \u201cWe hope that community members will gain new knowledge throughout the program and apply these positive practices in their daily lives.
