One concrete manifestation of this cooperation is an industrial-integrated dual degree program, which offers students the opportunity to gain both international academic and professional experience.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8f966cdba7ef264ec71f2788aa5c7aa1\"><b>Expanding global learning and career opportunities<\/b><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNAIR Vice Rector for Academic, Student, and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Ir. Mochammad Amin Alamsjah, M.Si., Ph.D., noted that UNAIR has long established partnerships with several Taiwanese universities, including programs that produce master&#8217;s and doctoral graduates. Through this latest forum, both parties reinforced the development of a dual degree framework integrated with the industrial sector.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We view this cooperation as an excellent opportunity because students can gain study abroad experience and build international careers with the support of industries in Taiwan,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Alamsjah explained that the collaboration offers three student mobility schemes: the 3+1 scheme for undergraduate students, the 2+2 scheme for diploma students, and the 3+1+i (internship) scheme. These three frameworks combine study periods in both Indonesia and Taiwan with internship programs at partner companies, allowing students to acquire professional experience.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prof. Alamsjah added that these student mobility schemes can evolve into formal dual degree programs once supported by an MoU or MoA regarding degree equivalence between UNAIR and partner universities in Taiwan. These include Mandarin language proficiency backed by certification, a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00, and standard English proficiency scores, specifically a minimum TOEFL iBT of 42, a TOEFL ITP of 460, or a TOEIC score of 550.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, participating students will receive various facilities during their studies in Taiwan, ranging from scholarships and monthly living allowances to complimentary dormitory accommodation. &#8220;This support enables students to focus more intently on developing their competencies during their studies, granting them a stronger competitive edge in the global job market,&#8221; he concluded. After completing the educational process at the university for the duration specified by the chosen scheme, students will be facilitated to undergo a one-year internship at a partner company with a substantial salary.
