Through the AUN-HPN Youth Project, delegates presented health-promotion innovations for the campus and wider community.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\"><b>Student mental health innovation<\/b><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A delegation from UNAIR, represented by Ade Shendy Aulia Ashari and Aulia Dwi Wijayanti from the Bachelor of Science in Physics program at the Faculty of Science and Technology UNAIR, showcased an innovation titled \u201cPiece of Mind\u201d (PoM). This innovation was developed as a solution to the high levels of academic pressure and excessive screen time among college students.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PoM is an interactive, offline, self-guided mental health promotion kit that includes guided journaling, reflection notes, an emotional release box, and puzzle-based discovery. This kit guides students through the seven stages of the PoM Journey.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ashari explained that this project was born out of concern over the stress-inducing dynamics of campus life. \u201cThrough PoM, we\u2019re providing a medium to promote mental health that helps reduce screen time while giving students a moment to breathe,\u201d she emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She added that testing on 30 students showed an engagement rate of 92 percent and that the kit increased participants\u2019 sense of calm by 1.53 points. \u201cWe really hope this project doesn\u2019t end with the conference but can be realized in practice on our campus,\u201d Ashari continued.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"884\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1SDGSS-884x1024.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-416578\" srcset=\"https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1SDGSS-884x1024.webp 884w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1SDGSS-259x300.webp 259w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1SDGSS-767x889.webp 767w, https:\/\/unair.ac.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1SDGSS.webp 1105w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 884px) 100vw, 884px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Le Van Hai Dang and his fellow Vietnamese delegates present their project on CPR education and non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention during the poster presentation session at SDGs CONNECT 2026, held at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) on Wednesday (14 October 2026). Yasir Dharmawan Diniy)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-8-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\"><b>First aid education for NCDs<\/b><\/h5>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand, the Vietnamese delegate, Le Van Hai Dang from Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, presented a health promotion project focused on preventing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs). This initiative focuses on improving young people&#8217;s preparedness in the event of a cardiac arrest emergency.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dang explained that his project is packaged as interactive workshops based on adapted OSCE simulations to equip students with cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. &#8220;Our main goal is to provide the younger generation with practical skills so they can perform CPR accurately.
