UNAIR NEWS – The music performances of Choir and Orchestra Club of Universitas Airlangga opened the second day of Airlangga Education Expo, Saturday, February 24. Participants crowded the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC) Campus C UNAIR, were fascinated by the performances.
After the music performances, the event continued with a talk show and Q&A session on the admission to state universities by Achmad Solihin, SE., M.Si., as the Head of UNAIR Student Admission Center (PPMB). In front of the participants consisting of headmasters, teachers, and students, the Head of PPMB UNAIR presented various selection pathways and mechanisms to be considered.
After that, there was a simulation of “Save Lives, Start Now” which is guided directly by the academic community from Faculty of Medicine UNAIR. In this simulation, participants were also invited directly to perform the emergency first aid.
After the simulation, participants followed a talk show that discuss about the opportunity to follow exchange programs abroad. The talk show hosted by UNAIR international office staff was also attended by parents of students.
In between the events some participants may visit the booths that have been provided. The participants dominated by high school students were very enthusiastic. This was seen from the numerous questions asked by the visitors to the booths.
Meanwhile, in the 2nd Floor of ACC Campus C UNAIR, a talk show was held with Kompas Daily. The participants crowded the hall.
“Our target for talk show participants was only 150, but there were more than 300 participants were present,” said Hedy Diah Syahputri as the event coordinator.
On the main stage at the same time there was PSHT pencak silat performance. Finally, the second day was closed with the band performance from one of the high schools in Surabaya.
“Hopefully the participants can benefit from the activities we hold,” said Hedy asked about the expectations of the implementation of Airlangga Education Expo. “For those of you who have not been able to visit, don’t miss the last day, tomorrow, ” she concluded.
