UNAIR NEWS – Dean of Faculty of Medicine Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) Prof. Soetojo, dr., Sp.U(K) officially opened a cooperative which entitled as Medika Sejahtera Cooperative on Thursday (9/11).

Cooperative Medika Sejahtera is the collaboration between ‘Berkah Medika Nusantara Cooperative’ which is managed by the doctors FK UNAIR with Cooperative FK UNAIR. The grand opening of the cooperative was attended by many guests, such as members of Darmawanita FK UNAIR, Head of UpeDDi, staff and lecturers of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR,  and employees.

Dean of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR Prof. Soetojo, dr., Sp.U(K) desires to make the cooperative as a prospering  place for FK UNAIR academicians, includes staff, students and lecturers.

“To buy things, you don’t need to go far place. It only comes to this cooperative because it has been coordinated by campus needs,” He said

The cooperative is designed look like a minimarket. There are a lot of things, includes groceries, snacks, drink, medical books and also original souvenir of FK UNAIR (Shirt, hats, token and so on)

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the entire guests were allowed to see the new cooperative, including Prof. Djoko Santoso as the Vice Rector I Universitas Airlangga.

“I am the first buyer,” Prof Djoko Said while paying for his bread.
