UNAIR NEWS – Bidikmisi Student Communication Forum (FKMB) of East Java chose PDD Universitas Airlangga Banyuwangi to be the venue for National Meeting of Student and Alumni of Bidikmisi (SMNPDN) 2017. It was held last Saturday, March 11.

According to Fauzi Zarkasi, Head of AUBMO (Airlangga University Bidik Misi Organization) PDD UNAIR Banyuwangi, the meeting was held to criticize the SMNPDN’s last year program. It was attended by some representatives in Jember Raya region.

The activity of FKMB is a routine meeting which gathers all Bidikmisi organizations in the province. The agenda of the meeting was sharing and discussion session between regions related to internal campus organization program.

Furthermore, it was also held to explore the regional and national issues and try to find solutions to the problems. It was all for SMNPDN 2017 which will be held in Lampung, May 2017.

According to Siti Norfatimah and Safrida Adistiya, the FKMB participants, PDD Banyuwangi is the right place to hold the meeting as it is accessible with excellent facilities.

”This activity enables us to share information regarding management, work programs of each organization and continuity of regional program,” said Siti.

Hodimatum Mahiroh, the member of AUBMO PDD UNAIR in Banyuwangi added that SMNPDN is an activity held routinely by Permadani Diksi Nasional every other year.

It was held to unite students and alumni recipients of Bidikmisi at national level. The agenda are to revise the AD/ART of Permadani Diksi Nasional, to present the report of previous management and to elect the new chairman of Permadani Diksi Nasional. (*)
