KKN Back to Village Invites Students to Develop Hometown

UNAIR NEWS – As agents of change, students are highly anticipated for their role to provide a better change for the nation and civilization. Moreover, to provide real change and contribution to their own regions.

To that end, through regulation of UNAIR Regulation, Institute for Community Service (LPM) UNAIR developed a program KKN Back to Village. KKN which will be held on the even semester of this year, according to Head of LPM UNAIR Prof. Dr. H. Jusuf Irianto, Drs., M.Com., is one of the new programs that aim to provide access to students in developing their home areas.

“We gave them opportunity to develop their regions through KKN Back to Village,” he said.

The professor who is familiarly called Prof. Jusuf also revealed that in its implementation, KKN Back to Village is not much different from KKN-BBM as it has been implemented from year to year. It’s just that, he added, KKN Back to Village done by the natives of the region with several colleagues one class that has one purpose.

“So they (students, ed) are also in groups, not alone,” he said.

Regarding the mechanism of KKN Back to Village implementation, Prof. Jusuf said that students must submit a proposal first to LPM UNAIR. From the proposal, he added, the students will be given some insight to develop the area of ​​origin.

“Students who will follow KKN Back to Village, first report to LPM. Then we will give direction and brief them so KKN Back to Village can run well, “he concluded.
