UNAIR NEWS – Nursing D3 Program Faculty of Vocational Studies Universitas Airlangga Gresik and Lamongan Campus has opened student admission from July 13 to 21. The nursing academies officially merged with UNAIR on December 21, 2017 will accept a total of 220 new students.

“It is divided in 2 places, Gresik Campus and Lamongan Campus with each 110 people,” said Hafna Ilmy Muhalla, lecturer of Medical Surgical Nursing.

The institution was officially merged on January 2, 2018 based on Universitas Airlangga Rector Decree Number 63 / UN3 / 2018. The two campuses were the Nursing Academy in Gresik and Lamongan regency.

Hafna, the lecturer who served as coordinator of Campus UNAIR Gresik said that this campus has both been following the selection process by doing cooperation with UNAIR Student Admission Center (PPMB).

“The first academic year was 2017/2018, PPMB UNAIR used a substitute system . It opened its own portal which is combined with AKPER Gresik’s site, ” she explained.

Regarding the quality, it should not be doubted, D3 program of Nursing Academy Gresik Regency was previously an education institution that always prioritizes professionalism, independence, excellence.

“After joining UNAIR, we follow the academic climate at UNAIR, the teaching system there, considering that UNAIR is also targeted to be the world’s Top 500 campus,” said Hafna.

For services, D3 Nursing UNAIR Gresik and Lamongan provides 14 permanent lecturers, 14 lecturers from the Faculty of Nursing and several expert  lecturers  from outside. Alumni is also directly distributed to all health services in the country and abroad.

“We really paid attention to quality, so the prospective students should not be worried,” she explained.

In the end, Hafna reiterated that the Nursing D3 Program of UNAIR in Gresik and Lamongan is the vocational nursing education that has competitiveness of national and international level based on religious morality.

“One word to describe D3 Nursing Gresik and Lamongan is professional,” concluded Hafna.
