A lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) made another work which was officially patented on February 3 2023. The work is in the form of a module entitled “Pharmacist Practice Module: Assessment Drug Therapy Problems (DTPs) in Hypertension Patients” which was created by 4 lecturers.
The four lecturers are Dr. apt. I Nyoman Wijaya, S.Si., SpFRS., Prof. Dr. apt. Umi Athiyah, M.S., and apt. Andi Hermansyah, M.Sc., Ph.D. who is still actively teaching at FF UNAIR. As well as one retired professor, Prof. Dr. apt. Fasich.
Through this patent, FF UNAIR is able to demonstrate the quality of its teaching staff while at the same time making an impact on the world of education and health. Besides being used as teaching material for pharmacist students, this module can also be used by practitioners to address drug problems in hypertensive patients.
Moreover, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Health, hypertension is one of the diseases most people suffer from. So that the risk of hypertension drug problems may occur in a number of sufferers who are not small.
