Collaboration of UNAIR Faculty of Law and Saburai University Faculty of Law: Focuses on International Accreditation

The Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga (FH UNAIR), as an institution currently ranked first as the best Faculty of Law in Indonesia, always open up as many opportunities as possible to collaborate with other Law Faculties. Various cooperation agreements have been signed to develop legal science in Indonesia.

The Law Faculty of Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai University (FH Saburai University), Bandar Lampung, is one of the institutions that entered into a cooperation agreement with FH UNAIR. The Dean of the Faculty of Law of Saburai University, Dr. Ino Susanti S.H., M.H., said that this collaboration was a tribute to the Faculty of Law of Saburai University because their institution still has a lot to learn for the development of law science in the future.

“We are very honored to be able to learn about international accreditation from FH UNAIR. We also hope that there will be cooperation in other fields in the field of education. We hope that what we are doing will impact our institution,” said the Dean of the Faculty of Law Saburai University.

Vice Dean III FH UNAIR, Dr. Maradona, S.H., LL.M., explained that FH UNAIR currently has 12 research centers. They are the Center of Business Law, Center of Agrarian Law Studies, Center of human rights Law Studies (HRLS), AIILS, the center of anti-corruption and criminal policy, the center of health law studies, MODA, CLeP, PSKK, sharia studies, and renewable energy laws and policies.

“We also accept foreign students. Thus, information about FH UNAIR can be accessed through this FH UNAIR website. All international publications can also be accessed from this website. Everything is connected to the FH UNAIR website,” said Maradona.

Maradona added that for the past two years, FH UNAIR had received funding from collaborating with universities in the Netherlands to increase international journal publications. He said that five universities were FH UNAIR partners in conducting research.

“For example, if you want to do research here, you can directly access and download it through the available channels,” added the Dean of FH UNAIR, Iman Prihandono, S.H., M.H., LL.M.

Maradona also explained the Airlangga Legal Education Center (ALEC) application on the Play Store.

“The contents of ALEC are all facilities available at FH UNAIR starting from legal aid, e-library, book store, FH UNAIR news, and so on,” said Maradona.
