To improve the quality of graduates of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga (FH UNAIR) holds an accelerated bachelor to master program called the fast track program. This program is an accelerated bachelor to master-program aimed at students so they can complete bachelor and master programs within five years.
UNAIR FH held a socialization of the fast track program on Wednesday (1/2/2023) in the Boedi Soesetyo Hall Room 303, Building A FH UNAIR. FH UNAIR offers a fast-track program from the Bachelor of Law Study Program to the Masters of Notary and Masters of Law Study Programs. This fast-track program includes facilities providing opportunities for Bachelor of Law students to participate in the Masters of Notary Studies and Masters of Law Study Programs in semesters seven and 8 of Bachelor of Laws.
The fast track program by FH UNAIR can provide time and cost efficiency because the Bachelor of Law Study Program is usually taken for eight semesters. The Master of Notary Study Program or Master of Law Study Program is taken for three semesters, so it should be a total to complete undergraduate education and Masters in FH UNAIR if you don’t take part in the fast track program is eleven semesters. However, with the fast-track program, students only need to take nine semesters for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at FH UNAIR. This program also saves on tuition fees because it includes waiving SOP fees in the Masters’s program for two semesters.
The requirements to join this program are as follows:
- Candidates for the fast-track program are undergraduate-level students who are enrolled in the Law Study Program at FH UNAIR.
- Candidates for the fast track program are students who have taken semester 5 with a minimum of 114 credits and have programmed a minimum of 18 credits in semester 6 for students who wish to continue their studies to Masters in Notary Masters and a minimum of 20 credits in semester 6 for students who wish to continue their studies to Masters in Masters. Legal studies.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
- Have an ELPT score issued by UNAIR Language and Multi-Cultural Center with a minimum score of 475.
- Obtain a recommendation from the Coordinator of the Study Program for a Bachelor of Law and Master of Notary Studies or Master of Science in Law.
- Sign a statement of willingness to take the fast-track program that parents or guardians know.
- Candidates who pass the fast-track program selection will receive a Decree from the Dean of FH UNAIR to be submitted to the Directorate of Education UNAIR.
Students who have passed the selection process and are accepted as fast-track program students must then fulfill the following conditions:
- Students must complete all Bachelor of Law program graduation requirements by the end of semester 8.
- In the Masters of Notary and Master of Law programs, students are required to complete semesters I and II with a minimum GPA of 3.50 and a minimum of B for each subject.
- Students who do not meet requirements 1 and 2 above will have their participation in the fast-track program canceled. In connection with the courses in the Masters of Notary Studies study program and Master of Law that have been successfully taken, the student in question will receive a certificate containing a list of courses and credits that have been obtained. Suppose students continue their studies at the Masters of Notary Studies Study Program and Master of Law Studies. In that case, they can continue by taking the regular route with the provisions and mechanisms set in the Masters of Notary Studies Study Program and Master of Law.
- The coordinators of S1 and S2 Study Programs hold meetings twice a semester with participants of the fast-track program to monitor the progress of academic activities, whether lectures or thesis preparation (publication) are going well. Study Program S1 and S2 take the necessary steps if problems are encountered during the fast-track program.
