Surabaya – Humas | On (07/12/2022) The Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Airlangga (FISIP UNAIR) Held a pengajian (praying together) Event which was attended by representatives of the academic community throughout the university. The representative comes from each faculty, student organization, and social academic institution that runs under UNAIR such as AGE and PUSPAS. It is known that the activity is a monthly routine agenda in Universitas Airlangga. However, this time FISIP UNAIR played the role of host, so the event was also used as a series of 45th faculty DIES NATALIES celebrations. 

It was noted that this pengajian event was divided into several sessions, which were (1) opening; (2) reading Al-Qur’an; (3) greetings from Prof. Dr. H. Jusuf Irianto, Drs., M.Com (The Vice Dean I of FISIP UNAIR) AND Endi Estetiono (The head of Evaluation and Compensation SDM UNAIR sub-unit); (5) delivery of religion lecture by Dr.H. Moh Syaeful Banar S.Ag., M,Si with the title “Supporting SDM in Work Environment with Akhlakul Karim and Become Insan Kamil,” 

On this occasion, Dr. H. Moh. Syaeful Banar S.Ag., M.Si said that Rasulullah S.A.W taught Islam to his people in two ways, namely through knowledge and good morals. Therefore, the existence of Universitas Airlangga as one of the leading universities in Indonesia has an important role in advancing and educating the nation’s life. UNAIR must be able to spread true knowledge, not fake news because it will affect people’s lives. The academic community is then expected to be able to become actors who spread this knowledge or news (NA, PDA).
