In September Graduation, UNAIR Banyuwangi Officially Has Alumni from Four Programs

UNAIR NEWS – After some students from S1 Veterinary Medicine Program and S1 Aquaculture at PSDKU Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi graduated their students in July, S1 Accounting and S1 Public Health officially followed on Saturday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 11.

UNAIR PSDKU Coordinating Secretary in Banyuwangi A.A. Gde Satia Utama, SE., M.Si., Ak. congratulated them for this achievement, especially to the graduates from four programs at UNAIR Banyuwangi.

“This is a history for PSDKU Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi which produces its first graduates after four years of its establishment. And, these four programs got B accreditation by BAN PT or LamPTKes, ” he said.

These first graduates are pioneers. They are the alumni who will become witnesses from the establishment of PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi to its future development.

“We guarantee the quality of graduates of PSDKU Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi is not much different from the main campus. Because, the treatment is the same, no distinctions at all. Once UNAIR students, the quality is also UNAIR, ” added Agung.

There were 27 students from S1 Accounting Program graduated on Saturday, September 8. There were also 22 students from UNAIR PSDKU S1 Public Health Program in Banyuwangi graduated on Tuesday, September 11. The rest will be continued in December.

Head of Public Health Program PSDKU UNAIR in Banyuwangi Dr. Mohammad Zainal Fatah, Drs., MS, M. Kes., revealed that his institution tried as best as possible to graduate on time. Although, it is constrained by a considerable distance from the main campus.

There is also limitation from consultation with the supervisor. However, these obstacles are overcome by all UNAIR students in Banyuwangi. The students are so persistent and never give up. Many of them graduated on time.

“The enthusiasm of students in PSDKU is extraordinary. Even though we lecturers must go back and forth Banyuwangi-Surabaya, it paid off with their enthusiasm. Our tiredness paid off. We became enthusiastic with them, very enthusiastic, “said Sri Widjati, one of the lecturers from Surabaya.

“I hope that the students, after becoming UNAIR alumni, will keep the alma mater’s good reputation and continue to support UNAIR towards Top 500 World Class Universities. Wherever you are, always stick to Excellence With Morality , “Agung motivated the graduates. (*)
