Helminthiasis often haunts farmers, especially those concentrating on feedlot. Most worms live in the digestive tract of animals, absorbing food nutrients or the blood of their hosts.
Farmers from various cities get an opportunity to participate in Livestock Feed workshop on Sunday, May 13. The workshop was held by Vet Ways Indonesia team, students of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), and Winner Nescafe Kickstart 2017 participated by farmers from Bali, Lampung, Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Semarang, Madura, Nganjuk and Kediri.
Zoonosis expert, Dr. Mustofa Helmi Effendi, dr., DTAPH, said that anthrax is an infection transmitted through spores of Bacillus anthracis bacteria.
