Tigapagi and Silampukau Perform in RECUSIA

UNAIR NEWS –  Art performance event RECUSIA (Reculture Indonesia) held in Surabaya Town Atrium on Sunday, December 4, ran very lively. RECUSIA is a part of Student Executive Board (BEM) FKM annual program,  Project of Public Health (POPH), to celebrate FKM’s 23rd anniversary.

In the main event, RECUSIA presented two indie bands, Silampukau and Tigapagi. Both have amazed visitors through their favorite songs. The group from Bandung, Tigapagi, performed Sundanese melody and their single called Alang-alang while Silampukau performed some of their songs. One of them was Si Pelanggan. Beside music entertainment, the band also make jokes which make the show even more lively.

Beside presenting the band performaces, BEM FKM also held another events started with home workout demo by Indobarian, followed with a talk show on health with Indah Kusuma, S. Ked (Finalist of Miss Indonesia 2014) and Triska Susila Nindya, S. Km, M.Ph (lecturer of FKM UNAIR).

Furthermore, there was also a zumba dance, a talk show on entrepreneurship and photography competition. Previously, POPH held a sport competition called DEAN CUP held in the middle of October.

In RECUSIA, there was also culinary bazaar, fashion, accessories and also old cassettes. According to Lidya of the committee, the theme chosen was expected to enliven and present cultural values to youth.

“Hopefully, in the future FKM is known more and POPH can be better and livelier than before,” Lidya said. (*)
