In addition, prospective students also need to include their best recommendation letters.

“Prepare the required documents for each university or department, as stated on the web page of the university of your choice. Make sure you did research about the university you choose before making a decision,” said Prof Chen.

Prof Chen said the majority of Indonesian students took PhD and Masters degrees. Business Administration, Computer Science, Informatics and Engineering, and Social Sciences are the most popular majors.

“In 2022, we expect around 17,000 students from Indonesia. The trend continues to increase from year to year, it shows the success of THEF,” he concluded.

Since 2017, Universitas Airlangga has participated in the implementation of THEF every year. Through the Taiwan Education Center in Surabaya (TECSID) located at the UNAIR Management Office MERR C Campus, UNAIR and other universities’ students can easily get information about further studies in Taiwan.

“By holding THEF, we hope that Indonesian students will know more about the advantages of each university so they can identify their favorite universities for their studies. It is also expected to increase the number of students from Indonesia. (*)
