UNAIR NEWS – Knights of Airlangga do not stop making achievements. In a national championship Shorinji Kempo in Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, on March 17-20, UKM Kempo has succeeded in winning medals, gold in Randori Men 70 kg, silver in Embu Group Men Kyu kenshi, and bronze in Embu Double Men Kyu Kenshi.

“We’re grateful. Our intensive training has given us achievements,” said Vievi Ruldi Mufaidah, deputy of UKM Kempo 2016 during interview last Tuesday, March 22.

She said that since January, her team has trained hard with some professionals and official manager who mostly were UKM Kempo UNAIR alumni. Endurance and techniques were honed well.

These achievements, said the student of Department of Health Science will be a driving force. Her team will not be content too easily. “We will be back to train to achieve bigger achievements. On the other hand, we expressed our gratitude to supporters who did not stop motivating us,” she said. (*)
