UNAIR NEWS  – “UNAIR has an egalitarian learning process. Between lecturers and students are free to express their opinion” Said Danie Maroe Bonie to express their impression of his almamater.

Through his thesis entitled “Strategi Komunikasi Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kota Malang dalam Pemberdayaan Kelompok Informasi Masyarakat (KIM) Berbasis Potensi Wilayah”/ “Communication Strategy of Communication and Informatics Office of Malang in Empowerment of Information Comunity Group (KIM) Based on Region Potential”, he finally finished the study on time and achieved as the best graduate of Postgraduate degree of Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) with GPA 3.79.

He had to face the hardest thing, his mother passed away while doing the research for his thesis. The Malang-born men shocked due to his mom gone suddenly.

“She has no much request, I was so devastated. Furthermore, I stopped and did not care about my research for three month while the graduation deadline was so closer,” He said

This former multimedia teacher said that he had no special tips and tricks to be the best graduate. He did all with persistence and hard work. If he did not know about something, he would ask to anyone. The most important thing is prayer, do goo to others and ask good wishes from anyone.

“I was not expecting got this GPA like that. I didn’t mean to get great GPA, my target was finish my study on time and well, God the rest.  I’m so surprised by the highest GPA,” Dani said

Dani, The recipient of scholarship from Ministry of Communication and Informatics, stated that how much knowledge we have, we should share it. According to him, if there had no sufficient knowledge or fund, some effort did not matter to help each other.

“What’s matter is how our existence can bring some positive vibe for people around us. This will be sad, if our existence is being ignored, or even worse, it become disastrous for surround people,” He said
