Dirgandaru G. Waskito said the topic he and his team presented was the influence of environmental policy-making at the domestic and international level in Indonesia.

“The three of us have concerns on environmental topics. Therefore, we presented the topic there, “said Dije as head of the team.

The International Relations student admits he was delighted to attend an international conference in Oxford. In addition to sharing his experiences with hundreds of academics from dozens of countries, at Oxford he could visit places he could only see in Hollywood production films.

“We could see old buildings like fortresses aged hundreds to thousands of years that often used to shoot some famous Hollywood movies, such as Transformers and Harry Potter,” said the student who has attended international event three times.

Tamara Meiliana Siswanto, Meily, said the international conference was the first time for her.

“It was a very interesting experience because I presented in presence of professors from various universities around the world and was considered as a researcher from UNAIR,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rinaldi who is also Deputy of BEM UNAIR in 2017 considered this conference as an experience that will not be forgotten especially in the conference, they were the youngest from all participants.

“We are the only presenters who were still undergraduate and we presented our work in presence of professors, assistant professors, master and doctoral students from various parts of the world,” said the student who has attended ASEAN Forum 2014 at National University of Singapore. (*)
