UNAIR Wins ‘The Best Booth” at Banyuwangi Expo Campus 2018

UNAIR NEWS – PSDKU Universitas Airlangga Banyuwangi won The Best Booth award at Banyuwangi Expo Campus 2018, Sunday, February 25. The event was held at the Banyuwangi Women’s Building.

According to Bayu Alfian, Head of the Student Family organization (KM) PSDKU Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi for 2018 – 2019, as one of 27 universities participating in the educational exhibition, PSDKU UNAIR was the youngest campus in the eastern most city on Java Island.

However, it did not stop UNAIR students to make achievement, as this time UNAIR students become the best at the exhibition and won The Best Booth award at Banyuwangi Expo Campus 2018 event . ”

“Achievements like this certainly cannot be achieved easily, the involvement of students, both from the representatives of the organization (student associations, KM, community interests and talent), and representatives of outstanding students from each study programs are also significant. They volunteered to work together to display the works and design the booth so they are not in vain, “added Bayu.

Setyo Agung Widodo, Head of Student Affairs Division of Universitas Airlangga in Banyuwangi, said that this activity is one of the bridging events so students in Banyuwangi can get to know the colleges and universities in the city.

“This activity was held by Banyuwangi Student Association of Java for two days and located at Banyuwangi Women’s Building,” Setyo AW said.

Adam Fahmi Fiqih, one of UNAIR students participating in this event, added that the committee determined the criteria for The Best Booth, are from the largest number of visitors, creativity of design and layout.

From the number of visitors who come to UNAIR booth recorded reached more than 200 students every day. The design and layout are pretty good, plus the ornaments (decoration) are colorful.

In addition, the work of outstanding students, for example from the results PKM (Student Creativity Program) and PMW (Student Entrepreneurial Program) were also exhibited. There was even free health check-up, and other things that attract visitors to attend. (*)
