UNAIR NEWS – Many dreams and wishes, those are what students have during their visit to favorite universities. They want to know more information on admission process, on academic life in campus and not few visits were used to motivate students to be the campus freshmen. It happened to class X students of SMA Islam Sabilillah, Malang. Their visit was received by Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) in Student Center Hall UNAIR, on Monday May 2.

There were 90 students and supervising teachers from SMA Islam Sabilillah, Malang visiting UNAIR to get general informations on university’s profile and student admission process. As others usual visits, they were introduced to facilities, activities, and achievements made by the civitas academica UNAIR. Visiting students got knowledge about UNAIR from the secretary of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH)  Dr. drh. Bimo Aksono, MS., also from Drs. Adri Supardi, MS, as the staff of UNAIR Student Admission Center.

But there was something different from this visit. A class X student from SMA Islam Sabillillah presented her scientific work in front of the students and staff of UNAIR. She presented it in Englsih about the benefit of zalacca leaves to handle pain of teeth and oral disease.

Wants to be UNAIR student

One of the students, Wahyu said that he wanted to be UNAIR students. “That was a great presentation about UNAIR, I wanted even more to be its student,” said Wahyu. “I want to study at language department. Any language is fine,” he said while smiling.

Other student, Dewi, also wanted to be Faculty of Medicine (FK) UNAIR student. “I want to help the society as a doctor. It is what my parents and me want,” said Dewi.
