22 Pharmacists UNAIR Ready to Serve

UNAIR NEWS – There were 22 Pharmacists from Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga taking their oath on Thursday, March 22 in the Ceremony of 105th Pharmacist Inauguration. Being held at Garuda Mukti Hall, UNAIR Management Office, a number of university officials and pharmaceutical organizations also attended the proceeding.

There was Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si, Apt., M.Kes, Ph.D., representing the rector; Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR Dr. Umi Athiyah, MS., Apt .; and Head of Study Program (Kaprodi) of Pharmacist Education Dr. Riesta Primaharinastiti, S.Si., Apt. From pharmaceutical organization, there were Chairman of National Pharmaceutical Committee Drs. Purwadi, Apt., MM., ME., and Chairman of Central Board (PP) of Indonesian Pharmacist Association (IAI) represented by Secretary General (Secretary General) Noffendi Roestam, S.Si., Apt.

Representing the inaugurated pharmacists, Rizki Putera Jaya expressed his gratitude to all parties, especially their parents and UNAIR for the education. According to him, the oath taking was the beginning for pharmacists to really take part in devoting knowledge gained in college to the community and humanity.

Rizki understands that lately the life of nation and state of Indonesia has an ordeal. Therefore, he reminded his colleagues to uphold the professionalism and based it on moral values ​​and humanity. Rizki also reminded that the young generation are the future leaders of the nation, so the pharmacist must learn continuously.

“Congratulations for all of us. See you in the next success, “he said. “Quoting Prof. Dwi Hamka. Do not be afraid of falling, because the ones who never climb, never fall. Do not be afraid to fail, because the ones who never fail are the people who never move forward. Do not be afraid making mistakes, because through first mistakes, we can increase find the right way for the next step, ” he added.

In the meantime, Dr. Umi Athiyah, MS., Apt., expressed her pride for the inauguration. She believes that all pharmacists were ready to serve and use their knowledge they gained in UNAIR because various educational support programs have been given.

“Congratulations to all the pharmacists. In their oath there is a sense of hope as well as their promise to be active in all fields of pharmacy. Once again Congratulations, ” she said.

Vice Rector IV UNAIR Junaidi Khotib, S.Si, Apt., M.Kes, Ph.D., stated that the reputation or rank of UNAIR continues to be improved. Therefore, to the pharmacist, he expected real contributions to society by promoting the ethical code of the pharmacists.

“Hold the principles of responsibility and put forward excellence with morality. Do not admit being UNAIR graduates if you are unable to give the best contribution to society and humanity, “he said. “Take good care of the alma mater’s reputation. Prioritize the professionalism.
