UNAIR NEWS – As the most popular campus among senior high school students, Universitas Airlangga is often visited by the students who seeks information regarding higher education student admission. Since the beginnings of 2016, there have been 39 school visits from many regions of Indonesia.

Students who visited UNAIR in the end of March were from SMAN 3 Kediri. There were 54 students and 2 supervising teachers received by Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) UNAIR staff on Wednesday, March 30. Mahrus Bahroni, one of the teachers, was pleased with UNAIR welcome.

“Honestly, we are pleased and proud to be here. I will be more pleased and proud if our students can be UNAIR students,” said Mahrus.

Similar with Mahrus, UNAIR was also proud of being the source of information for schools.

“Getting into UNAIR is easy, right? The difficult part is becoming UNAIR students. For senior high school visits, UNAIR is always open to share information,” said Dr. Eduardus Bimo Aksono H, drh., M.Kes., Secretary of  PIH UNAIR who also gave explanation on campus life.

Besides receiving visits, UNAIR also often holds publicization regarding university national selection and joint selection to many regions in Indonesia. It was stated by Dr. Hario Puntodewo Siswanto, drh., M.App.Sc., as a representative of Student Admission Center (PPMB UNAIR).

“Few months ago, I also visited some senior high schools in Kediri, hopefully, we can visit SMAN 3 Kediri next year,” he said during presentation in SC Hall Campus C UNAIR. (*)
