Evaluating Performance, Rector Encourages Officials to Make Improvement

UNAIR NEWS – The First Trimonthly Work Meeting 2017 is the performance evaluation of Universitas Airlangga officials in the last three months. In the event held in Amerta Hall, April 17, all high ranked officials from the central management, faculties, head of centers, boards, institutes and institutions in UNAIR were attending.

In this occasion, UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. Moh. Nasih, SE., MT., Ak., CMA., presented the university’s achievements, especially on grade-A accreditations, Scopus indexed journal publications, and the number of programs international accredited and certified.

Before presenting UNAIR positions, UNAIR Rector appreciated on hard work put in by all officials for the last three months in 2017.

“I’d like to thank all UNAIR officials for the hardwork did in the first trimonth. Some targets have been accomplished and we should improve the achievements. Hopefully it will push us top contribute more to the alma mater and the nation,” said Nasih.

Nasih then presented the accreditation achievements by UNAIR. According to Nasih, UNAIR grade A accreditation is still at 54.50% and it should be improved. The lecturers with doctorate degree and the number of Scopus indexed journal publications are in need of improvement as UNAIR is still left behind from the other big universities in Indonesia.

“It is our current position, hopefully it can make us aware and keep making improvements,” added Nasih.

Related to the number of programs accredited and certified internationally, Nasih emphasized to all officials to keep making improvements of the programs in all faculties. UNAIR currently has 1 international program and 9 programs certified by AUN.

“This is our current position and our map. Hopefully with this data, all officials can keep advancing towards betterment. We must maintain focus in the future, especially through action,” said Nasih.
