UNAIR NEWS – Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) has a plan to collaborate with UNAIR in order to improve quality of service in the library. The discussion of both institution was held in the conference room second floor of Campus B UNAIR Library to talk further about the collaboration.
“The most interesting program is staff mobility, which has been done before with universities of Malaysia,” stated I Made Narsa, Dr., SE., M.Si., Ak, the Head of UNAIR Library, on Wednesday, July 5.
In his opinion, staff mobility will improve the staff quality to make service improvement. It has been done with other foreign universities and it will always be done to improve the network in Asia.
“UNAIR is included in ASEAN University Network Library Organization so it is possible to collaborate with non-member university. SUT for example, SUT is not a member but we can collaborate with them,” he added.
Narsa also added that next August, UNAIR will visit Thailand to talk about it further. The staff then will be sent for two weeks and vice versa.
“Having resources with great social media support is an important point to be more excellent. It makes SUT interested to work with us,” stated Narsa.
In the end of the interview, Narsa said that UNAIR has established partnerships with various elements.
“Similar collaborations will be always conducted with other universities to improve work productivity,” he said.
