UNAIR NEWS – Six out of eleven teams of Universitas Airlangga Student Creativity Program (PKM) Universitas Airlangga have done their presentation on the first day, Thursday, August 24, in 30th PIMNAS arena held in campus of Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Makassar, South Sulawesi. Five others team will do their presentation this Friday, August 25.
The six teams have already done their presentation were PKMGT (written idea) “Volcano Dome: Konsep Rumah Dengan Kubah Pelindung dan Hidrolik di Kawasan Pegunungan Sebagai Solusi untuk Meminimalisasi Kerusakan Saat Erupsi Gunung Berapi (The House Concept with Protecting Dome and Hydraulic in Mountainside to Minimize Damages during Volcano Eruption)”, PKMKC (Invention) entitled “I-Humble (Innovation Heart Monitoring Portable Device) with Digital Filter for Detection and Monitoring of Angina Pektoris”.
The other three teams were PKMM (Community Service) teams, “ACAR (Aquascape Care) as Medium to Improve Creativity and Communication in Children with Special Needs in SMPLB Negeri Banyuwangi”, PKMM “Healthy Preaching: Safaat Based Responsive Health Training (Santri, First-Aid, Al-Waqayitu Wataziia) in Tahfidul Quran Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPPTQ) Sunan Giri Surabaya”, and “BILQIS (Bio Liquid Smoke): Utilization of Liquid Smoke from Asian palmyra palm Shell for Preserving Fish In Effort to Create New Business Opportunity in Ngareng, Jatimulyo Village, Plumpang Sub-district, Tuban Regency”.
Only one of the PKM-PE (Exacta Research) teams has done its presentation. PKM entitled “Reservoir Patch Transderma Dexorubicin Development with Polyvinil Alcohol and Ethil Cellulose as Advanced and Comfortable Breast Cancer Chemotherapy Solution.”
On Thursday evening, evaluation was conducted for PKM which have done their presentations, so their information and input can be used for other teams. The students also practiced at that time. It was presided by the Head of UNAIR PIMNAS Contingent, Agus Widyantoro, SH., MH., with Student Affairs supervisory team (TPK). Even the Director of Student Affairs UNAIR Dr. M. Hadi Shubhan, SH., MH., CN also gave his support.
