UNAIR NEWS – As a part of science, knowledge and culture centre, Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is inviting humanist Emha Ainun Nadjib and his group Kiai Kanjeng, on Thursday May 26 for a nationalistic contemplation. The humanist known as Cak Nun with the group is invited in a religious gathering and artistic performance in front of Management Office Building UNAIR.

The Head of PIH UNAIR, Drs. Suko Widodo, M.Si, said that Cak Nun and Kiai Kanjeng’s presence is to strengthen UNAIR ties with the people of Surabaya. It means that UNAIR and the people together actively in the process of seeking the truth on nationalism.

“This event is open to any civitas academica, either students, officials and UNAIR alumni. People of Surabaya and its surrounding areas are also invited to come on Thursday evening in Campus C UNAIR,” said Suko.

The event will be started with acoustic performances, one of them is from local musician SApto. Then it will be opened by Kiai Kanjeng, an address by UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. M. Nasih, S.E., M.T., Ak, and nationalistic contemplation by Cak Nun. (*)
