UNAIR NEWS – SDGs Center Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) received a visit from KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden at Balairua and continued in Amerta Room Lt. 4 Management Office Building, November 8, 2022. 

On this occasion, Professors Björn Berggren and Margareta Svedlund were present to discuss opportunities for future collaboration between Universitas Airlangga and KTH Royal Institute of Technology. This meeting is a follow-up to collaborative discussions, mainly related to the collaboration of Sustainable Development Goals and Student Inbound.

The delegation from Universitas Airlangga who attended the meeting was Prof. Dr. Ni Nyoman Tri Puspaningsih, M.Sc., as Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Community Development (RICD); Prof. Dr. Sukardiman, MS., Apt., as Director of Academic Affairs; Representatives of Airlangga Global Engagement; Representatives of the Faculty of Technology and Science; and the Head and secretary of the SDGs Center. Besides, representatives from all faculties and units under the auspices of the Vice Rector for RICD attended the meeting.

Apart from the strategic meeting, there was also a guest lecture by Professor Björn Berggren for all student representatives, the SDGs Faculty Ambassador Team, the SDGs team, and volunteers from all faculties. In this guest lecture, “Integrating Sustainability in Research and Education at KTH Royal Institute of Technology” is the theme presented by Prof. Björn. This guest lecture was followed by interactive discussions so that the entire audience is active throughout the explanation.
