UNAIR NEWS – Bernadeta Ayuning Tyas Ajeng Satiti should be proud to be chosen as the best graduate of Faculty of Psychology in September 2017. Besides great achievement in academic field, the most memorable experience during college is her involvement in the team of Research on Domestic Violence headed by Margaretha S.Psi. , PGDip.Psych., M.Sc. Ajeng, was graduated with GPA 3.79.

“In the research I gained experience and knowledge that I could not get in class. I learn a lot about scientific research, not only for my thesis work, but also when I help other colleagues to work on their thesis, “said alumnus of SMAK Stella Maris Surabaya.

Ajeng was working on a thesis with a topic in the research with Margaretha. The research she wrote was on the phenomenon of victim blaming attribution against victims of domestic violence and the factors that caused it.

The girl who had been an English tutor at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hafidz Surabaya in 2015 did not have any significant obstacles in completing her study. She should be good at managing the time between the thesis, the activities followed, and the time for the internship. In the last semester,she worked as an apprentice staff at the Unit of Psychology Service (UPP) Universitas Airlangga in 2016-2017.

“In the same period I became Regular Reliever in Riliv application,” said Ajeng.

Although already completed in UNAIR, but Ajeng is still busy with academic activities. Currently, he is preparing a presentation of ASEAN level scholarship to be held in Bali in September 2017.

To her juniors, Ajeng advised them to study in groups. Because with friends they can  learn, share knowledge and have discussion to add insight, they can also be a partner to help each other. (*)
