UNAIR NEWS – Airlangga Bojonegoro Community (ABC) held a try out for students in preparing for State University Joint Admission Selection (SBMPTN) on Sunday (5/2). There were 630 students from high schools participating in the try out to measure themselves as preparation for the real test.

“The participants were really enthusiastic as the number of participants exceeds the committee’s target. The committee had to closed registration at 630 participants because of some reasons,” said Syech Maulana of the committee  for the try out.

Enthusiasm was shown from the participants during the simulation test. They looked serious doing their test which was held at MAN 1 Bojonegoro.

After the Try out, the participants also were entertained by acoustic performance, door prize, monolog theater and the best score test announcement

Syekha added that try out test is an annual event of the community of Bojonegoro students who study in Universitas Airlangga (Airlangga Bojonegoro Community). “Try out test is a routine event. We try to keep holding this annually event, because we think through this try out we can increase the high school students’ confidence in Bojonegoro,” she said.

Besides, the event works as their community service for their hometown. “As President Habibie has ever said, the great people who work in other town would be better if they can be helpful in their hometown,” he added. (*)
