On 11-12 November 2022, Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) held a Molecular Dynamics workshop. This activity was held in the leadership meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building.

This workshop was attended by 10 participants who are members of the Drug Development Research Group (RGDD) and student representatives.

On the first day, after the opening ceremony was over, the agenda continued with a presentation on Biomod’s explanation by the speaker, Ms. Wanda Destiarani, M.Sc. After that, the agenda continued with the presentation of material by Mr. M. Yusuf, Ph.D. from Padjadjaran University.

Mr. Yusuf, his nickname, delivered material on the topic “Molecular Dynamics Concept”.

Then after the break session, the agenda continued with hands-on parameterization and minimization of Molecular Dynamic energy accompanied by Mr. Fauzian Giansyah, M.Biotek and Mrs. Wanda Destiarani, M.Sc. from Biomods.

Still with the same speakers and hands-on companions, on the second day the material presented was entitled “Applications of Molecular Dynamics”. After that, the agenda continued with hands-on heating, equilibration and production, trajectory visualization, and trajectory analysis.
