UNAIR NEWS – The Directorate of Student Affairs Universitas Airlangga held the Accreditation Form Improvement of UNAIR Student Activity Unit (UKM), at Puncak Ayanna Hotel, Trawas, Mojokerto on 3-4 November 2017. The event was attended by representatives from 39 UKMs in UNAIR.
Head of Student Affairs Division Drs. Eko Siswantoro, MM., on behalf of the Director of Student Affairs at the opening of this event said that the students of Universitas Airlangga were considered to be creative in their activities. Therefore it is necessary to regulate the improvement on both creativity creations and the quality of the activities.
“We expect improvement on the scope of the activities, not only local or regional East Java but also international level, because in terms of financing, they are not very different,” added Eko Siswantoro, Friday, November 11.
Deni Yasmara, S.Kep.Ns., M.Kep., Sp.Kep.MB., Coordinator of Student Interest Division added that with the accreditation form improvement, UKMs will improve their status administratively. With administrative discipline, UKM activists will be motivated to minimize activities at local level.
“Moreover, Universitas Airlangga is expected by the government to become the WCU (World Class University), so international events will support it,” added Deni, the lecturer of Faculty of Nursing (FKp) UNAIR.

Therefore, in the occasion, there was a presentation Dr. Ari Prasetyo, SE., M.Sc., Vice Dean II of UNAIR Faculty of Vocational Studies and a coaching session to write content for their websites.
The content writing was presented by Drs. Bambang Edy Santosa, a staff of Information and Public Relations Center (PIH) and news.unair.ac.id editor. The technical method of uploading the news was presented by Kustiawan Tri Pursetyo, S.Pi., M.Vet, a TPK member from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine UNAIR.
Other materials related to UKM activities were also presented by TPK team such as Pulung Siswantara, S.KM., M.Kes., and Drh. Thohawi Elziyat Purnama, M.Si, TPK from PSDKU UNAIR Banyuwangi. The event was officially closed by the Director of Student Affairs. M. Hadi Shubhan, SH., MH., CN., who led the briefing. (*)
