UNAIR NEWS – UNAIR student democracy party is about to begin. Soon they will use the right to vote in the election of Head of BEM UNAIR 2018.

There are two pairs of candidates doing their faculty safari (to introduce themselves). The first pair is Ucok-Zaka and the second is Teja-Fairuz. Each pair offers their distinctive work programs.

One of Ucok-Zaka programs is Airlangga Satu (Support Each Other). The program is aimed to provide financial aid in student activities.

On the other hand, in Teja-Fairuz programs, there is a Great Forum . Through the program, Teja-Fairuz wants to “sit together” with colleagues of UKM (student activity unit), BEM faculty, and hima (student associations) to discuss the programs for all.

To UNAIR News on Friday, March 3 during the safari at Student Center ( SC), Marsalino, as Deputy of PPK, recounted the safari activities. There were unique constraints during the implementation.

According to him, the obstacle was of the time because, the safari was adjusted with the time of each faculty and UKM. There was a problem in Faculty of Vocational Studies.

“At that time the room was used. Therefore, we are looking for a place that can be used to avoid lost time. Alhamdulillah until now there has been no significant obstacle, except about the time, “said Marsalino.

While during a safari in SC, there is one participant who asked Teja to demonstrate his martial arts skills. According to Marsalino, it was just one of the unique events happened during the Safari.

“There was a black out incident so the candidates could not use the mic. There’s also a funny incident when the mic sound so soft, and there’s a slip of the tongue, “Marsalino explained, then laughed.

The nearest agenda, Marsalino added, the KDP committee will hold a meeting. It was done in preparation for an open debate on 7 March. Whoever elected, Marsalino hoped that the candidates will not breach the trust given to them.

“May be honest and truly responsible for everything they say when they come to every faculty and UKM. They can kept their promises, “he hoped. (*)
