This study investigates life expectancy in Indonesia by comparing two nonparametric regression methods: Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) and Spline Nonparametric Regression, using 2023 data from 34 provinces provided by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS).
