UNAIR NEWS – Master program (S2) of Media and Communications FISIP UNAIR has planned to expand their international network. It is done to reach the university’s dream of being World Class University.

“We have held a conference every year. In the future we want to improve the quality by inviting more participants and speakers from abroad,” said the Head of Master Program (S2) Media and Communication,  Dr. Santi Isnaini S.Sos., MM., during interview in her room last Friday, February 12.

On the other hand, there is a plan to reschedule the conference. It was usually held in the end of the year. But, there is a plan to push it in May. “We want to hold it together with our department anniversary,” she said.

Furthermore, the program also often holds international seminars. The lecturers are also in turns to go abroad to attend a conference or international seminars, either as the speaker or participant.

Santi added that his department will improve the scientific journals quality, in terms of accreditation or from the author’s side including the institution’s background and where its from. Thus, the references from the journals will be more extensive.   (*)
